About the YNVA
The Youth National Volleyball Association (YNVA) was established in 2008 in the state of Texas as a 501 (c)
(3) non-profit organization.

The YNVA Objective is to build positive character, and enrich the lives and health of youth through the
promotion of Youth Volleyball.  The YNVA Mission is to put into practice the core values of integrity, teamwork,
respect, caring, discipline, accountability and fair play.

Founder Jerritt Elliott is the University of Texas Head Women’s Volleyball Coach and developed this volleyball
program to serve young girls and boys in grades 3 through 8.  These children are provided with the opportunity
to actively play the game of volleyball and learn from outstanding coaches.  These young volleyball players
participate once a week for two hours in a six-week outdoor grass court volleyball program.  

Coach Elliott said, “Participating in our YNVA program is a real benefit to children wishing to learn the proper
basic volleyball skills at an early age and who aspire to play later for an elite volleyball team and/or perhaps for
a major university."
