The Youth National Volleyball Association's
Teaching Philosophy
The YNVA believes the key to a child's success in sports development is the good fortune of having learned the correct fundamentals and skills at an early age.
The dilemma is that many parents who are coaching our young volleyball player have not had the opportunity to learn the correct fundamentals and skills themselves.
The YNVA Program addresses this issue by attracting Head University Coaches as special guests, High School Coaches, University/ Professional players, including All-American players who have experienced playing and coaching at the highest level. These exceptionally talented and gifted coaches train the YNVA Program parents on how to properly teach the basic fundamentals to our young athletes.
The YNVA coaches are on the field at all times to train the children in the proper skills and to ensure the volunteer coaches are teaching our children the correct volleyball fundamentals and skills.
"It is a great day when children can learn from the best coaches." Couple this with the YNVA Mission and Objective of building positive character, and enriching the lives and health of youth and you have a winning result.
